Programmed is seeking a hands‑on individual to provide field and nursery support to their Client for the Strawberry Breeding Program, which develops improved strawberry varieties for Australian growers and consumers.
Location: Wandin
Key Duties and Accountabilities
Propagation and maintenance of strawberry plants in shade houses and on tables
Preparation, planting, maintenance, and harvesting of strawberry breeding trials at the Wandin
Collection of plant and fruit data as required
Key Capabilities

Physical ability to work in hot, cold, and challenging outdoor field conditions
Ability to listen attentively and accurately follow instructions
Capacity to work well independently
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment

Start times vary between 7:00am and 8:00am
